PhD of Materails Science and Technology. More than 35 years researching and working experience in erosion/corrosion and materials science and technology for both University and Oil & Gas Industry. More than 100 papers were published in technical journals and international conferences. He is a visiting professor for University of Sci. & Tech of Beijing. He is also working for Chinese National Center for Materials Service Safety as a director of international expert. Prior to this he was a Chief Technology Officer of Marubeni-Itochu Tubular Steel Asia Pte Ltd responsible for corrosion and materials selection especially for oil & gas, geothermal and CCS/CCUS applications.He worked for INPEX Corporation as a manager of Materials/Corrosion department. He also worked as a research professor and an assistant director of NSF Institute for Corrosion and Multiphase Technology, Ohio University USA.
This technical session will focus on technical presentation on a broad range of topics related to global energy transition strategies, such as carbon capture, hydrogen, and other renewable energy in relation to technical assessment, material selection, corrosion prevention and its monitoring strategies, including challenges faces for the implementation.
